Total hip replacement — direct anterior approach

A muscle-sparing approach performed from the front of the hip. It avoids cutting through muscle, which typically means less pain, faster mobilisation and no restrictions on movement after surgery.

Total knee replacement — subvastus & kinematic alignment

The subvastus approach preserves the quadriceps mechanism rather than cutting through it, supporting a quicker return of strength and easier early rehabilitation. Dr. Dlaska plans every total knee to your individual kinematic alignment — a technique he trained in during his navigated and robotic joint surgery fellowship in Townsville — so the implant matches your native joint line and ligament balance.

Unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement

For patients with arthritis limited to one compartment of the knee, a partial knee replacement preserves the healthy compartments, ligaments and often feels more like a natural knee.

Revision hip and knee arthroplasty

Redo surgery for loose, worn or infected implants — a technically demanding area where Dr. Dlaska's experience at Charité Berlin and in Australia is particularly relevant.
